O'Brien is a long time vineyard owner and winemaker who built his sustainable winery "from the ground up" and he will share his story, including insights into grape growing in the region, organic farming, old and new methods at his winery as well as providing us with a tasting of several of his wines paired with Beeb's appetizers: meatballs, pot stickers, chicken and fruit.
Hidden high in the Santa Cruz Mountains lies Silver Mountain Vineyards, a unique winery and vineyard operated by founder/winemaker Jerold O’Brien. Established in 1979, Silver Mountain Vineyards is one of the oldest sustainable, completely organic wineries in Los Gatos, located at an elevation of 2,100 feet and enjoys a spectacular view of the Monterey Bay and surrounding redwood forest.
