Dr. Georgi Dimirovski Recognized with Region 8 Individual Service Award
On 27 October 2022, the R8 Life Member Subcommittee held an in-person LMAG meeting in Prague, Czech Republic. The meeting was held at the Czech Technical University and held by the local LMAG led by Andre Sopczak, Chair. A total of 22 people, including Life Members, Young Professionals, and families.
It was a full-day meeting with updates from Region 8, Region 8 Life Member Sub-committee chair, Peter Magyar, a presentation on IEEE History Committee activities, and activity reports by three Sections. The Young Professionals presented invited papers in support of the motto of the meeting – “Current YPs are the Future Life Members.”
During the meeting, Dr. Georgi Dimirovski of the North Macedonia LMAG was recognized as the Region 8 Individual Service Award winner for 2022.
