The Hungary Life Member Affinity Group (LMAG) hosted a group mentoring event for young people as part of the International Youth Conference on Energy (IYCE’25), titled “Passing the Electrical Engineering Experience to the Next Generation.“ The event took place at Ensana Thermal Margaret Island, a hotel located in an island park on the Danube River. The moderator was Dr. István Vokony, Chair of the Hungary Section of PES. The invited Life Member mentors were Prof. Dr. Tibor Berceli, Prof. Dr. György Madarász, and Prof. Dr. Tamás Szirányi.
The 15 young people heard about the changes in the technological environment and the nature of electrical engineering work, as well as about the AI paradigm, from our IEEE Life Members.
