Abstract: Since the pandemic so much has changed in the tech job market, unexpected layoffs, fierce competition, & a lot of anxiety caused by AI. In this interactive talk we will discuss my journey from UTSA Computer Science student to software engineer at Microsoft, the lessons learned, and actionable advice for helping anyone in looking to break into tech succeed.
