IEEE Piedmont Section Meeting

Our next Piedmont Section meeting will be October 17, 2024. We had to reschedule the meeting from our 3rd Thursday (9/19) meeting date because of meeting room availability.
Our technical meeting will be a presentation by Dr. Hassan Raza, Clemson ECE Department. You my recognize Dr. Raza's name. He is the faculty member for Clemson's ECE Senior Projects 2.
Dr. Raza and Dr. Bill Reid accompanied the Clemson Hardware Team to SouthestCon 2024. Their students WON, yes WON, the Hardware Competition! Great job!!
Our meeting will follow our usual format, dinner starting at 6:30 PM paid for by the Section. This is a great opportunity for some personal networking and maybe a little bit of mentoring.
Its a also a great opportunity to learn about SoutheastCon 2025 Regional Conference March 22 – 27, 2025 in Charlotte. And, WOW, you can also learn about IEEE Life Member (LM) Evolution Conference 2025 June 11 – 13, 2025 at the Joyce Cummings Center, Tufts University, Boston. The 2024 LM Conference featured many interesting presentations about AI. What will be presented at the Evolution 2025 conference?
BTW, both conferences have Technical Programs. Do you have a technical paper you want to present? Now is the time to get your paper ready and submit for review. If you don't have a paper, maybe you could be a reviewer.
At 7 PM the technical program will begin with Dr. Raza's presentation: Nanotechnology: From Atoms to Systems. Continue reading the event information for more details.
