The IEEE Delphi Section held a workshop for members of the Section and LMAG along with their spouses on December 24-25, 2024, at Hotel the Mud Fort in Uttar Pradesh, just 65 km from Delhi. The meeting was opened by Prof. Prerna Gaur, IEEE India Council Chair for 2025.
On the second day, there were several technical talks. Notably, Prof. Jasdeep Dhanoa delivered a presentation titled Electronics to Spintronics – Growth and Future of VLSI Industry in India. Robert Sternfels, global managing partner of McKinsey & Company, was quoted as saying, “It’s not India’s decade, it’s India’s century.”
The group also enjoyed a village trip to Khurja, a city of pottery where they visited pottery shops and interacted with the local artisans.
