From 2-4 November 2022, 128 students and guests from Region 9 met at the Holiday Inn in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico.
This was the 25th Student Branch meeting in Region 9 and the first in-person meeting in three years. The students represented 38 different student groups from Central and South America. The theme of the meeting was – Forming IEEE Leaders to Transform the Region 9 Future. The event included Leadership Training, Humanitarian Content, and a Student Fair.
Sponsored by several IEEE organizations, including a Regional Student Funding Grant from the IEEE Life Member Committee, the event was hosted by IEEE Morelos Section, and a large contingent of IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) members participated.
