This presentation details the technology benefits and limitations of lithium titanate oxide (LTO) batteries as a viable alternate to traditional lead acid, traditional lithium ion and the various nickel batteries. Discussion will center around data center applications for DC back-up power for uninterruptible power supplies and for energy storage system applications used either for grid stabilization or mirogrids.
