Former Life Member Committee Chair and Long-Time Lone Star Volunteer, Scott Atkinson, received the 2025 Region 5 Life Member Individual Service Award at the IEEE Region 5 Annual Meeting held in Boulder, CO, in March 2026. The award was presented by IEEE Past President Kathleen Kramer and Region 5 Life Member Coordinator John Purvis. Scott also accepted the 2025 Global and Region LMAG Achievement Awards on behalf of the Lone Star LMAG.
