Overview
Honor history. The mission of the IEEE History Center is to preserve, research, and promote the history of information and electrical technologies. The Center maintains many useful resources for engineers, historians of technology, and anyone interested in the development of electrical and computer engineering and their roles in modern society.
There are lots of ways for IEEE Life members to get involved:
- Nominate a significant technical achievement for recognition as a IEEE Milestone
- Share first-hand histories on the Engineering and Technology History Wiki
- Participate in virtual and in-person lectures, events, and talks
- Promote the IEEE Reach program to educators
- Support the IEEE Global History Museum
