The 2025 Region 5 Annual Meeting was held March 28-30, 2025, in Wichita, Kansas. The local Wichita LMAG sponsored the opening night reception, which was held in Woolsey Hall on the Wichita State University campus. The event was opened by speeches by Matt Francis, Region 5 Director, and Tim Lee, IEEE-USA President.
Tim Lee discussed the IEEE-USA organization and its activities, notably government policy work, including a prominent role in passing the CHIPS Act to support the US Semiconductor Industry.
