Lecture Meeting hosted by TPC, Tokyo Section and LMAG, Tokyo Section Lecturer:　丹沢　徹　氏 （静岡大学　教授） 2016年IEEE Fellow受賞 ■講演タイトル：「オンチップ電源回路の研究開発」 (R&D of On-Chip High-Voltage Generator) ■開催日時： 2022年8月26日（金） 15:30～17:00 (開始5分前からZoomにお入り頂けます) Agenda: Lecturer:　丹沢　徹　氏 （静岡大学　教授） 2016年IEEE Fellow受賞 ■講演タイトル：「オンチップ電源回路の研究開発」 (R&D of On-Chip High-Voltage Generator) 概要 講演者が研究開発に関わったオンチップ電源回路において、当時の回路設計へのチャレンジがどのようなもので、それを克服するためにどのように取り組んだか、そのアイデアを紹介します。回路を専門とされない方にもアイデアをイメージ頂けるように講演を工夫します。講演のゴールは、ご参集頂いた方にトピックの一つでも面白いと思って頂けることです。 　　東芝ULSI研究所では、現在USBメモリやSSDで使われているNANDフラッシュのデータ書き換えのためのオンチップ昇圧回路を担当しました。講演では、初めにNANDフラッシュメモリの原理である「電源を切ってもデータを保持」と「データの電気的書き換え」はどう両立できるかを説明し、書換えのための高電圧発生回路の必要性を述べます。コンピューティング性能の向上にはデータ書き換えを高速に行う必要があります。つまり、書き込み電圧をオンチップで高速に発生しなければなりません。オンチップ昇圧回路の特性を理解するため、講演者がどのように昇圧回路の動的モデルを求めたか紹介します。その回路モデルをベースにして、昇圧回路面積を増やさずにその制御を変えるだけでどのように2倍高速に昇圧電圧を発生できるようになったかを説明します。また、NANDフラッシュでは複数の昇圧回路を用いています。性能を落とさずに昇圧回路全体の回路面積を40%削減しチップサイズを1%以上削減する動作方式を示します。 　　 現在所属している静岡大学では、「環境発電用電源回路」を研究テーマの柱の一つとしています。最後に、逆磁歪振動発電用AC-DC昇圧回路の回路面積をどのようにして三桁小さくできたか、のアイデアを紹介します。 Virtual: https://events.vtools.ieee.org/m/320965
