The presentation will include a review of ground based telescopes around the world plus the benefits on the new Vera C. Rubin Telescope in Chile. Scott Atkinson will lead the discussion. He has had the privilege of visiting some major telescopes (Lick Observatory, MacDonald Observatory and SOFIA) plus has knowledge of others.
