The IEEE Society on Social Implications of Technology (SSIT) fosters collaboration across academia, industry, and policymakers to explore the human dimensions of innovation which emphasizes ethical design, inclusive access, and long-term resilience in digital systems that shape global connectivity. The Society, in collaboration with Hyderabad Section is organising an in-person meeting on 10th November in Hyderabad to promote a dialogue on building technologies that are secure, sustainable, and socially responsible. By uniting technologists, ethicists, and community leaders, SSIT seeks to ensure that technological progress strengthens—not endangers—human welfare, equity, and trust, creating a future where innovation serves both industry advancement and societal good.
