The IEEE Islamabad Section plans to host a one-day "Symposium on Section–Chapter Coordination" with the objective of sharing guidelines and best practices among the organizational units (OUs) of the Section. The symposium will cover a wide range of topics, including:
* Section guidelines for chapters and societies
* Section vitality
* Officer training on vTools, event reporting, officer reporting, website management, IEEE Engage, and e-Notice
* Rebate policies and requirements
* Membership development
* IEEE resources
* Awards and recognition
* Effective finance management
* Best practices for chapter sustainability
* Section student branches and student branch chapters
The event is scheduled to take place at NUST-RIMMS, H-12 Campus, Islamabad, on 3rd September 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
