The IEEE MGA Affinity Groups Meeting was held in Bangkok, Thailand, on 6-8 March 2026 at the Royal Orchid Sheraton Riverside Hotel. Over 120 representatives of IEEE Students, Young Professionals, Women In Engineering, and Life Members were in attendance from all regions of the world.

Attendees were greeted by Mary Ellen Randall, 2026 IEEE President; Drew Lowery, 2026 VP of the MGA; and the leaders of four Affinity Groups.
There was a combination of Joint Collaborative Meetings and Individual Affinity Group meetings. The Life Member Committee held a hybrid meeting over two days.
In the afternoon of the first day, some Life Members visited the Wat Trimit Temple, which housed Thailand’s largest solid-gold Buddha.

The Life Member group enjoyed a sampling menu of Thai foods at a local restaurant.

On the evening of 7 March, a combined dinner was held at the hotel with live Thai entertainment. The Life Member Committee representatives are shown with Drew Lowery and Antonio Luque (past VP of the MGA).
